In my hopes of exploring some new work, I scheduled a skyped stage reading of sorts. We read through a play I found really interesting and was excited to hear out loud.
The following video is Take 2 of the workshop when we interpreted the text of Muffin, The Closet Doesn't Work That Way by Henry Keyser as a skype conversation between two people in a relationship. Although the details aren't perfect in terms of internet connections fully cooperating or in the logistical things of when the scene takes place, I think this was a very good start to a development of a short piece.
I look forward to holding another workshop of this play with some other performers soon and seeing what else we can learn. But for now, enjoy this amazing reading by Keith Traver and Sean Griffin.
